Cranberry Cheddar Scones
Deliciously savory Cranberry Cheddar Scones made with Mouse House cheese—perfectly golden, cheesy, and lightly sweet. Ideal for snacks, brunch, or festive treats!
Ingredients:
- 225g self-rising flour
- Pinch of salt
- 55g butter
- 150ml milk
- 100g Mouse House Cranberry Cheddar (grated)
Method Overview
- Prep: Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan) / Gas 7. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Mix Dough: Combine flour and salt, rub in butter until crumbly. Stir in grated cheese, then mix in milk to form a soft dough.
- Shape: Turn onto a floured surface, knead lightly, and pat to 2cm thick. Cut with a 5cm cutter.
- Repeat: Re-knead scraps and cut more rounds.
- Bake: Brush tops with milk. Bake 12–15 mins until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
